SUNDAY SELECTIONS

Today's selection is an old classic AT THE CROSS

click melody in the upper left hand coner for the music

HE LIVES
I serve a risen savior, he's in the world today
I know that he is living whatever men may say
I see his hand of mercy, I hear his voice of cheer
And just the time I need him, he's always near
He lives He lives Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me and talks with me
Along lifes narrow way
He lives he lives, salvation to impart
You ask me how I know he lives
He lives within my heart
ohh how touching & true the words of this old classic is today, Jesus came to set the captives free, he died that we may live, reach out & touch him today, rejoice that he lives within you

PINK SAT./A FEW EASTER PINKS

Pink Saturday is hosted by http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com

IT seems as if Easter comes earlier every year, as we watch our children, grand children & old alike seek for colorful Easter eggs, I encourage you to seek the Lord this Easter season & thank him for the reason we celebrate Easter

Easter use to be my holiday for all the cooking & gathering of the family, watching the little ones run all over the yard searching for eggs, all those little ones have grown into parents of little ones them selves & started traditions of their own, , many years back a sweet niece whom it seems only yesterday we were having Easter& her baby shower asked if she could take up the torch for Easter dinner, she has now did the cooking & the egg hiding for all those sweet little ones of the parent s who sue to run all over my yard oh my I'm starting to sound old so on with this post! LOLOL

I had to dig out the Easter tote, yea that's how long it's been LOL this sweet couple has been with me through thick & thin, they have visited other homes for Easter but always found their way back home LOL

aren't these little chicks just the sweetest, although I passed the tourch I still had to have them LOL

this little couple has been with me through the years as well, just look how proud he is of his carrots!

here are a few of my paper mache eggs that I l aways arranged on a stick tree, yea that's right LOl go out into the yard & find a neice branch with lots of good limbs & spray paint it white & place in a flower pot & arrange eggs on the branches

we hope you enjoyed our pink Easter, be sure to go by & say hello to Beverly & vist more wonderful pink Saturday participants over at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/

PLAYING AROUND THE HOUSE

Warm weather has sprung, well for the moment so far LOL it has been in the high 70's/80's most of the week, debating wheter or not to pull the whole house outside & start all over LOL LOL, oh well we'll start with one room at a time & see how it goes LOL

I have an antique table that I put a few of my antique crates on & gave it a different look,by the way, anybody know how to remove a water stain from wood, it was there when I bought but hey for $10 I couldn't say no LOL, ok back to playing with the table

if all else fails on removing the stain I'll just look for a bigger Dollie, or something, humm I shall think about that tomorrow, the drink crates I've had for years, the Pepsi crate is a four box one it use to hold the big Pepsi's, not quite as big as a 2 liter, it holds my husbands Louie Lamar westerns

The tricycle planter I purchased at Hobby Lobby a few years back & sister pulled it together with the grasses thingy isn't she a sweetie? LOL,there's evena little bird's nest peeking out

I purchased these sweet bunnies at Hobby Lobby last year, aren't they the sweetest peeking out?

you may rememebr a few weeks back I had these crates on this table but with a different look, I think I like the bunnies best, don't you?

so here we have the before & after of the antique table
