THIS IS GOING TO BE A GOOD ONE!!!!

SUMMER READING CHALLENGE UPDATE

Susan over at A Southern Daydreamer Reads hosted a Summer reading challenge which went through June 21st--Sept.21st
I had big expectations of reading many many books LOL I didn't squeeze in the time to read all of the ones I listed but I did have time to make time to read which was a blessing within it's self as it has been way too long since I've been able to sit & just read to be reading for sheer enjoyment of reading

restoring the apostolic & prophetic foundations God established at Pentecost, this book prepares the way for a new move of the spirit, calling on the spirit & power of Elijah empowers you to receive the supernatural gifts God wants to give you

concerned over her increasing fatigue Sylvia's husband, Harry has sent her back home from their mission work in Nicaragua to undergo testing the diagnosis is numbing: cancer--a stark terrifying word that will utterly reshape the trajectory of Sylvia's life

There is a new challenge in progress, if you'd like to join in visit a Southern Daydreams @ http://asoutherndaydreamerreads.blogspot.com/

SUNDAY SELECTIONS /VERBS

Do you love to read? I came across this book "Leaves Of Gold" at an Antique store a while back, it is filled with sayings , poems etc.I thought it was pretty neat like as on pg.145
"VERBS"
I AM
I THINK
I KNOW
I FEEL
I WONDER
I SEE
I BELIEVE
I CAN
I OUGHT
I WILL
I SERVE

are all powerful verbs &hold true to their meanings

another interesting little saying I came across on reading:
READING... is to the mind what exercise is to the body, as by one, health is preserved, strengthened & invigorated,by the other virtue(which is the health of the mind) is kept alive, cherished & confirmed

upon cleaning out, culling out, whatever you wish to call it, you know where you pull it all out, sort it, arrange it toss it etc LOL well this was what was going on in the kitchen, I knew that I still had it somewhere lol & there it was at the tippy top of the cabinet

this sweet bowl was a Christmas gift from my sweet baby girl who at the time was around five or six, we were all at the Mall shopping, when we went into a drug store & she saw this bowl, getting her daddy's attention she said I wantta buy this for mama, he put the money in her little hand a big whopping $3.00 LOL & led her to the counter, I can't believe out of all the things I've accumulated through the years I've still got this sweet bowl, that being 29 years ago, guess it's considered an Antique now! LOL

OOPS MISSED THE CHECK IN! wk 10

The Bible in 90 days is hosted by Amy of Mom's Tool Box,, wow only right at a month left to go, a lot of reading requires discipline, if you're behind , don't beat yourself up , read at your own pace, this is not race, although it is a challenge, I for one am behind again, with show times fast approaching, I need to find another strategy to keep up, perhaps reading when I go to bed or the first thing I do in the morning while savoring over coffee, be sure to go by http://momstoolbox.com/ & check out the Bible in 90 days challenge

PINK SAT. /NIGHT LIGHTS

Welcome to Pink Saturday, it's been a few weeks since I've done Pink sat. it's been busy busy busy over here at Nanna's, going & seeing that sweet grandson who was born just shy of a few weeks ago & getting ready for our first show which is less than two weeks be sure to check our other blog for updates on that

now lets see what that pink fairy's been up to lol

do you have night lights throughout the house, night lights usually meant you were scared of the dark but today they're made in so many shapes & styles, they re too cute not to be on, I bought the sweetest teacup night light at Hobby Lobby, just the cutest thing for the kitchen don't you know, well I made the mistake of putting it on the wall across from my Chihuahua's bed & now he wont go to bed unless "his" nightlight is on LOL LOL
Pink sat. is hosted by Beverly @ http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/, be sure to go by & say hello & visit others who are participating in Pink sat.
