THINGS TO GET INTO

How many things can you find to get into lol!

can you guess what it is? lol! I came across a great tutorial on Pinterest for padded hangers,I knew these types of hangers can be expensive but I didn’t know how easy they could be to make,how sweet these will be in my closet, question is, when will I have time lol! I’m off for a much needed haircut,then to the church to begin decorating & preparing for our upcoming ladies conference but I'll squeeze a day in there somewhere lol

FUN AT THE PARK

  Remember  when we thought the cookies would be safe in the cookie jar,well it doesn’t take much for things to change ,noooo i didn’t eat them all lol! it doesn’t take much when two four year olds call & say nannaaaaaa lol!now I know why i made cookies, to throw a picnic together!sandwiches, chips, cookies,lemonade & a 45 or so min.drive & you have the best day ever!

40 pictures later,& rosé cheeks it was time to go , Madison(L) told me next time bring my credit card for the Zoo, lol! gotta love four year olds!

HOME SWEET HOME

Nothing better than a lazy day at home, lounging in your pj’s in the bed sipping lemonade  & watching a what my hubby calls a girls movie lol!

nothing  more says lazy stay at home day like homemade peanut butter cookies

oh course I could eat them all but if they’re in the cookie jar they’re safe  

 

or are they? lol, now you must excuse me as I get back to my lazy stay at home day, the Walton's are on! lol!

PRETTY SNACKS

  Who says snacks, breakfast bars etc. have to stay in the box lol! bring them out & let them be a part of your decor, pretty snacks make for good tasting snacks don’t you know lol! as I went through the house cleaning & thinking about do I dare try to downsize anything lol!I though about my dishes  I LOVE DISHES! they will never be downsized lol! plus I decorate the church, weddings  birthday parties, family gatherings,etc  with them soooo they get to stay no matter what,anyways instead of having 2-3 jars holding everything or stuck in the cabinet in the box, I pulled out one my antique pink bowls, now don’t they look much happier than in those old boxes? lol!

WOW! HAS IT REALLY BEEN A WEEK!

My goodness how time flies! lol!we’ve been all over & back again , lets see  there was my brother-n-laws surprise birthday party, finally took that antiquing trip, all the way to Arkansas, went to a quilt show,been working on the sewing room,this week hubbys off &  we’re cleaning up from the tornado ,still a ways to go but we’re making progress!

these next few weeks doesn’t look too empty lol! there’s a trip to Mississippi  with my pastors wife to check out a church her nieces is getting married in just in a few weeks, there’s pictures to be took, pews to be counted, then on to where they’ll have the reception, tables, how many? how to arrange the room,you get the picture? we have our ladies conference coming up , it’ll be two days this year,lots to do to get ready, but we’re ready! lol!our little dresses for Africa project is soaring! we now have over 350 dresses!so before all that happens what would you like to see first? lol! how about a little birthday?

how to you have a surprise party with so many people? you make them think it’s an early memorial BBQ cause their oldest is moving to Montana lol!so how do you hide presents?easy! daughter lives next door! lol! a few of us sneaked around the gate over to where the presents were

made  a single file back around the fence singing happy birthday! lol!

and what do you suppose makes the perfect ending to a perfect day?the ice-cream truck comes by! 

yes sister& the help of her youngest daughter pulled it off& it turned out to be a fantastic day!

GOT WINDEX?

I was on a cleaning spree this morning , only to discover I was out of Windex, I really didn’t wantta go to town, seems like once you go to town, it’s all over lol! so I went on line for some Windex recipes & decided to go with this one   http://www.ehow.com/how_4857318_ecofriendly-natural-windex.html

this was the first time I’ve ever made my own Windex & was very happy with the results, just three simple ingredients * alcohol *vinegar  * water

Fill 1/4 of a spray bottle with alcohol .

Pour distilled white vinegar into the bottle until it is half full

Add enough filtered water to the bottle to bring the liquid level about an inch below the top.

I had an empty oxy bottle, rinsed it out, peeled the label off & waa laa!

I can’t believe I made Windex lol!my mirrors & TV screens are sparkling! next I’m going to try my hand at making laundry detergent!

While at my daughters  a few days back, we talked about VBS coming up at her church, she makes a cake etc for the theme every year & this year she decided to do cupcakes,she set the wheels in her head in motion as to how to design a stand & waa laa!
