SUNDAYS SELECTION

Hello, and a good Sunday morning to you ! Whatever you choose today I pray that you stop long enough to take a deep breath & give God praise for all the wonderful things he has done for you, as I ponder as to what to speak on at our upcoming Ladies meeting this week I think back of this past weekend when we took all of our granddaughters to the mountains, how glorious it was at the top on the mountain & the cold mornings I spent with one of my granddaughters on the deck waiting for the sun to come up, & coming home how it felt so different coming down the mountain & beginning to feel as though you were in a valley ohh yea there;s a good message there for sure, but with all 4 girls squeezed in the back seat lol we began to discuss the difference of being on the mountain top & in the valley, stop & think today of one thing that simply takes your breath away & know that whatever comes your way there is a friend that will walk with you whether on the mountain top or in the valley, that friend is Jesus so stand strong like an old tree that is rooted in the water that withstands any storm that comes it's way

Where Could I Go But To The Lord

Words & music by J. B. Coats

Living below in this old sinful worldHardly a comfort can afford
Striving alone to face temptation so
Now won't you tell meWhere could I go but to the LordWhere could I go oh where could I go
Seeking the refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to save me in the end
Won't you tell meWhere could I go but to the Lord
Life here is grand with friends I love so dear
Comfort I get from God's own word
Yet when I face that chilling hand of death
Won't you tell meWhere could I go but to the Lord
Where could I go but to the LordWhere could I go oh where could I go
Seeking the refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to save me in the end
Won't you tell meWhere could I go but to the Lord

This would be a wonderful experience to share with your group. I enjoyed reading it, and can relate to the feeling.
