TABLESCAPE THUR/HOUNDSTOOTH BABY SHOWER

With six granddaughters, to decorate for ,tea party's etc. church functions, dinners, weddings etc.my world is filled with pretty, crystal, foo foo poofs, ribbons & bows LOl but when my daughter says she wants a hounds tooth themed baby shower , I knew this was gonna be a challenge lol yes after 6 girls, our oldest daughter is having a boy! so youngest daughter & me put our heads together & waa laa!
my youngest daughter made the cake, she is truly blessed with designing cakes, if you have a picture or idea she can design it

a simple Ritz cracker with peanut butter dipped in almond bark with royal icing A's makes the perfect cookie

Oreo balls & mini donuts yum yum

pulled pork sandwiches, I had my doubts when she said the roast had to cook in chicken stock for 3 hrs stove top LOL but it got tender & when she added all the spices & Bar-B-Q sauce, oh my word!

I forget what she called this salsa but it is soo good, has black beans, corn, bell pepper, black eye peas, tomatoes, Italian dressing I think that's all I can get the recipe from her if you'd like

a brighter look at the table, her table is so wide before it was over with I was in the floor with my fabric turning it into a table cloths it is huge squares of Hounds tooth fabric & red broadcloth, there was also fruit, chicken wraps& punch.

a card table was decorated to coordinate with the main table picture of Noah, everyone signed a little note around a sonogram picture of Noah

Tablescape Thursday is hosted by http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com

Hey - where did you get your houndstooth bags and accessories for the shower? I am putting on a houndstooth baby shower too - but with green.
Looks fab! Thank you for sharing!
