PINK SAT. /TREASURED MEMORIES

Today is a very special Pink Saturday, Beverly has chosen me as one of the featured bloggers, thanks Beverly! If this is your first to hear of Pink Sat. be sure to go by http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ & say hello to Beverly our sweet host of Pink sat. there you will find some wonderful new friends who are linked up to share their sweet pink treasures

upon cleaning out, culling out, whatever you wish to call it, you know where you pull it all out, sort it, arrange it toss it etc LOL well this was what was going on in the kitchen, I knew that I still had it somewhere lol & there it was at the tippy top of the cabinet

this sweet bowl was a Christmas gift from my sweet baby girl who at the time was around five or six, we were all at the Mall shopping, when we went into a drug store & she saw this bowl, getting her daddy's attention she said I wantta buy this for mama, he put the money in her little hand a big whopping $3.00 LOL & led her to the counter, I can't believe out of all the things I've accumulated through the years I've still got this sweet bowl, that being 29 years ago, guess it's considered an Antique now! LOL

Ahhh, that is so sweet. Such a small price she paid and such a huge reward in memories. God is awesome in how he reminds us of simple love.

What a sweet bowl and a sweet memory. I bought a few little thinks like that for my mom, and now I have them since she passed away. They mean a lot to me. And I have a shelf full of little things by children gave me through the years - the youngest would just go shopping in our house! Ha! Since she couldn't go out, she'd just pick up something around here and "gift" it to me. LOL!

Blessings,
Tricia
