http://howsweetthesound.typepad.comcorn beef(sliced thin from the deli)
Larraine cheese(I used the Swiss with the holes)
shredded cabbage(found in the produce)
Cole slaw dressing(found in the dressing isle)
butter
mix Cole slaw dressing to shredded cabbage to taste( a little goes a long way)
add a thick layer of corn beef, Cole slaw mixture, cheese, then repeat layers
melt butter in skillet & grill sandwich
the second time I made this I used just 1/2 stick of butter & it did fine, I used a spatula & my other hand to turn it as it is big! LOL
here it is after it's all grilled
I cut it at an angle & added chips & we were all set to try this new sandwich, of course hubby kept asking where's the sour kraut LOL he said Rubens are supposed to have kraut LOL I told him it's on there, it's just not cooked LOL LOL
& so we have the final results

They say that Spring has sprung but we're still having some low tempts lol, I was looking through my files & came across this wreath I had made for my daughter a few summers back & thinking I need to make a few up for upcoming shows, I always have customers asking for Americana items at my Christmas show so I think I'll see how they do starting out with my Sept. shows

no matter how much I look at them I can't have one LOL this past Christmas show I met a wonderful lady who owned a gourmet candy shop & she set up right beside me, talk about being tempted all day!& even worse it 's a two day show 9-9 what's even worse is I can't believe I walked outta there with not even one, she even offered me one of my choice when the show was over but I got so busy I totally forgot, but I'll be looking for her this coming year for sure LOL well it's too late to wish for an apple but I can make peanut butter cookies LOL awww wish for one of these apple lady!
