SUN.SELECTIONS /BE YE THANKFUL

 

 

In Daniel 3:16 Shadrach,Meshach and Abednego answered and said to the king,O Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer thee in this matter, if it be so,our God whom we serve is able to deliver  us from the burning fiery furnace and he will deliver us out of thine hand O King but if not be it known unto thee O King that we will not serve thy Gods nor worship  the golden image which thou has set up

 

do you have your mind made up of who you are & who you serve Lev. tells  us to offer Thanksgiving at your own will (Lev.22:29) we all have a free will to choose whether we serve God or not, a free will to serve him no matter what comes our way

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, have you thought about that word “Thanksgiving” Col. 3 tells us “to be ye thankful”

the dictionary defines thanksgiving as an act of giving thanks, an expression of gratefulness especially to God

have you thanked him that you woke up in your right mind this morning, another day to praise him, to live for him, to witness for him, when we know in whom we serve we can walk out of the fiery furnaces of life & say no matter what comes my way I’m blessed anyhow , do you know what a blessing it is to be able to have that free will, the freedom to even serve & worship your God,there are countries all around us that doesn’t have this freedom

don’t take for granted the freedom that you have & the right to a free will 

know ye that the Lord ,he is God,it is he that hath made us and not we ourselves,we are his people and the sheep of his pasture,Enter his gates with Thanksgiving and into his courts with praise, be thankful unto him and bless his name For the Lord is good,his mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations (Ps.100:3-5)

Daniel in the lions den knew in whom he served, David didn’t fear Goliath because  he knew in whom he served & who he was in God, can you think of others
