have you gotten into the tinted jar craze that’s all over Pinterest? there’s so many ways to tint a jar, so which is the best way? the right way? the wrong way?
1.there’s the modgepodge & food coloring method
2.the glass paint on the inside method
3.the white glue & food coloring method
4. the tinted glass stain method
5. the glass paint on the outside method
I’m going to attempt one of these ways & make a supply station of my scissors ,pencils, paint brushes etc for the sewing room, leaning towards pink for the color, I love the softness of the M.P & food color but haven’t found anything promising as far as the color being permanent, we know that glass paint will cover glass but is that the easy way out? lol! what do you think? have you tried tinting jars, if so , did it work?

Those look like fun!

I've been pinning these tutorials for quite a while, but haven't put one method to the test yet. I love the look of the old blue-green jars with the zinc lids---it would be cool to duplicate them.
