(Romans 8:38-39) says

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,nor angels, nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other creatures shall separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus

in other words nothing should be able to keep us from the love of God, we have to live in this world & life does get us down at times more ways than one but we are to stay strong & get right back on the battlefield of our walk with the Lord

I’ve noticed spider Lilies are beginning to pop up here & there

as I noticed one in the middle of the yard as we approached the front of the church, my mind was flooded with sweet memories of my husbands grandmother who always had a row of them along side her fence, then I thought of how quickly it'd be gone with the next good grass cutting, but no matter how many times it gets cut down it always pops back up

that’s the way we are to be when this old world gets us down, when we feel we can no longer stand strong on the battle field, the enemy may knock us down but if we stand faithful & true we will stand again, if the little spider lily could talk I’d imagine she’d say you may cut me down but I’ll come back for I was born to bloom

so take another look at the spider lily the next time you come across one & remind yourself you were born to bloom so that those who walk in darkness may be able  to see the light
