Sometimes the best outings can be just an hour away or even just down the roads a ways watching the sun go down on the river, we started out just down the road a ways to Tannehill Trade days, a monthly craft event, then onto Ox Moore a town between us & Birmingham where we stopped in at a Chinese Restaurant, then onto Birmingham to the big Iron Man called the Vulcan , as you can see I stopped along the walkway taking pictures of bird houses & Dogwood trees
to prolong the climb up to the top of the top of this big Iron man come on he says ugggggh , seriously? you wantta do this? whew! thank goodness they’ve installed an elevator after all these years lol!
so what do you see at the top of this big iron man? the city of Birmingham
and the sun beginning to set which is always a beautiful sight

it’s been a fun filled day, the sun has gone down & our pillows are calling but it’s all good as we agree we’re just an hour away from home as we pull into Krispy Kreme for coffee & donuts
