TRYING NEW THINGS & A CANDY BUFFET

Since many don’t venture over to the cooking blog I thought I’d bump my post over here, because I knew you’d love it! lol!

every year we try to discover something new, something different & sometimes out of our comfort zone of the same Oh same Oh, this year it was cinnamon candy, I had came across this recipe on Blog years ago,& recently found it on Pinterest, yea for Pinterest lol! she advises a candy thermometer but we did it old school, where you do the cold cold water hard ball stage & yes it did take longer doing it this way, I didn’t dust mine with the powered sugar as much as she did, maybe next time!

then it was onto Divinity,Fudge, Peanut Butter Balls, White Trash, Date Balls , peanut Brittle & Cinnamon Candy for our candy buffet

 

for as long as I can remember we’ve always made cookies, tons of cookies! but this year we went with candy, maybe we’ll have a cookie baking party for New Years!
