The making of an Annie









Do you have magazines that you look at over & over saying to yourself, I'm going to make that one of these days? LOL well I have tons as far back as the 80's of Country Marketplace, Country sampler, Doll Life.. just to name a few & I decided one day I was going to make something from one of those magazines, so here is Autum Annie



Here you can see she's starting to look just like her picture, I was surprised she came out as big as she did coming from a magazine pattern








Here she is all finished, she waited a long time to get out of that magazine LOL, I think this one is one from the 80's LOL

Ooooh Helen this is a cute doll.. Do you rmember the Attic Babies from the early 90?? I made so many of those and sold them...I use to buy baby clothes from yard sales to dress them in and old baby shoes from thrift stores.. I still have one I amde to look like me haha!! red hair and skinny legs..they were so ugly they were cute..and good lord I can't tell you how many mop dolls I made for people.. Love your blog and I am happytobe on RMS and a friend of your wonderful sister..just love that one to death..she was the most up lifting person to me after my Mama died and I will never forget her for that kindness she offered to a cyber friend. Any hoo enough about Dot.. this is your blog!! Hi Helen! This is my first visit but I know I'll be back!!! I used to love Country Marketplace because they included patterns! Wish they still published it. I've made those bunny dolls and wish I kept them too! Tastes and crafts change but I keep wishing I had my old stuff!!lol Dot has so many "sisters" I wasn't sure if you were the real thing!
