BLUEBERRY SOUR CREAM COFFEECAKE

BLUEBERRY SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE


1 package Duncan Hines Blueberry muffin mix
1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup blueberry preserves

GLAZE

1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 12/ tsp water


1.Preheat oven to 375, grease an 8-9" round cake pan or pie pan

2. rinse blueberries with cold water & drain

3. For coffeecake combine dry muffin mix, sour cream,milk & egg in medium bowl

stir & spread 1/2 of batter into pan

4. Combine blueberries & preserves in small bowl

spread 1/2 of blueberry mixture on top of batter, spread remaining batter over blueberry layer,spread remaining fruit on top, bake @ 375 for 30-35 min.or till golden brown

5. For glaze, combine confectioners sugar & water in small bowl, stir until smooth, drizzle over coffeecake

I absolutely love blueberry muffins so I can't go wrong with this recipe! I love the way the blueberries baking make the house smell so inviting. With cooler temps, this will be a good Saturday a.m. breakfast.

Happy TMTT! I have always heard of this kind of coffeecake and never made it. It looks and sounds really awesome! I'll have to give it a try sometime.
