PICTURE HEAVY
How much can you can into a weekend or even a day around here it has been know to be a lot at times lol! Dec. is always full the calendar looks like a coloring page with all the blocks colored in with events, some even share events lol!
FRIEDAY
we went to the Galleria a big mall not far from us & did some Christmas shopping, rode the carousel oh yes we did! lol! & pigged out just because we could lol! not to worry , we shared the sticky bun & the pretzel , that makes it less fattening right? lol!
terry even played with Legos & made little Lego people lol!
SATURDAY
first I gave that bathroom a second coat of paint then we celebrated our son’s birthday who's’ birthday is on the 5th as well as my father-n-laws who's birthday is on the 6th
SUNDAY
after church we got in some culture & History of our town, every year there are some older homes that have a Christmas Open House
this use to be our main Library & is now a Museum,The Friedman Library
love seeing the girls dressed up, fitting for the era
you are greeted with punch, as you began to tour the house , there is food set up everywhere with platters filled with desserts & foods the way it would have been presented back in that time
Then is off to the Old tavern
Then there was the Old Friedman Home

I hope you’ve had a good weekend & looking forward to a fantastic week ahead, today I’m getting the bathroom back to normal, all weekend with no mirror’s been interesting lol!, so putting it back together & sewing a curtain for the little closet

Wow! The Christmas Open Houses look fabulous! I love the dresses they wore back then, but can't imagine myself in one! The carousel looks like fun -- it's been a long time since I rode one!

I read that the word verification is a blogger glitch, and that you could just ignore it. I have been skipping it, and the comment still posts. I haven't tried to take it off my comment form though.
When we lived in the mountains there was a little town that opened its shops for a special Christmas stroll.
There was lots of goodies to sample and artisans to watch. Plus the luminaries to see.
