AT THE WELL INVITES YOU TO MEMORIZE PSALM 121

http://www.titus2atthewell.com/singing-scripture/

At The Well invites you to add your link and memorize Psalm 121 this week, this will be be good food for your soul so go by & join in, you'll be glad you did

Psalm 121
A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

I think a good way to memorize this is to put each section onto index cards, this way you can carry them with you & pull out at anytime, they can be placed in the kitchen window as you're doing the dishes, they can lay on the coffee table as you fold laundry even on your desk as you're on the computer lol but you get the idea, now I'm off to find where I put my index cards!

HANDKERCHIEFS

Do you remember the pretty flowered hankies, back in the 70's my husbands grandmother always got me a box of handkerchiefs for Christmas, I think I have one hankie left somewhere around here, such handkerchiefs are now considered vintage & can't be found unless you spy one in an antique shop but I'd hope for a new unused one lol, I've been on a hankie search for a few years simply because they remind me of her & they bring back such precious memories.

there is a vendor at the Christmas show that I do every year who buys them whole sale & makes the most beautiful angels out of them but refuses to sell just the hankie even when I offer to pay the angel price, so I went on a hankie search if you will lol

oh glory! there they were, new vinatge handjerchiefs & very reasonaly priced

I can't wait to click that "buy" button! LOL

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

(Psa. 92:1 ) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto thy name oh most high

Today we celebrate Thanksgiving, the lists never ending of all the things I am thankful for, I thank God for Peace, the peace of mind he will give to my father-n-law today as he reflects back of Thanksgiving past with his soul mate

my sweet grand babies will squeal with delight as they help mommy cook today & in the mist of it all my daughters heart breaks for her husband as he sits beside his father in the hospital & trys to comfort the heart of his mother

In the mist of all the mixed emotions just in our little family along there is a birthday in our mist, our granddaughter Kaitlyn turns 13 today, my mom is just a few weeks away from turning 75

there will be many today who feel they have nothing to be thankful for, but oh my friend if you were able to awaken in your right mind this morning, you have something to be thankful for, today my father-n-law will miss his wife, my husband will miss his mother, my son-n-law's heart will ache as he is torn to be in two places at one time today but I know that my God is able to give peace to the hearts of my father-n-law & my husband, strength to my aging parents,peace to my son-n-law & an assurance to his mom that God can & will touch that soul mate & all will be well

(Psa.29:11) The Lord will give strength unto his people,the lord will bless his people with peace

HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING & IN ALL THINGS GIVE THANKS, THINK OF THE THINGS GOD HAS BLESSED WITH & DELIGHT IN HIS GOODNESS

SUN. SELECTIONS /ANNIVERSERYS & BABY DEDICATIONS

(ECC.9:9) Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest...

I can say it has been a joyful 60 years for my parents,sister (you know her as Picket) & me pulled off a small interment surprise get together on their 60th wedding anniversary, I was the first to arrive , as dad answered the door I said hello I got a call you needed a decorator for a party LOL, then sister came in behind me , it was a great surprise for them both

When God answered Hannah's prayer by giving her a son, she remembered her vow:

"As surely as you live, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the LORD. I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD." And he worshiped the LORD there. 1 Samuel 1:26-28 (NIV)

little Noah is dedicated to the Lord this morning

(internet info)Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God, and not according to their own ways. Some of the responsibilities include teaching and training the child in God's Word, demonstrating an example of godliness, disciplining according to God's ways, and praying earnestly for the child.

We have truely had a wonderful & blessed weekend celebrating the joy of 60 years with my parents, listening to dad tell childhood stories & singing old songs, got him on video too lol, celebrating the dedication of our grandson Noah, as I looked around the pews in front & around me filled with all three of my grown children , my son-n-laws & all of my grandchildren & inlaws I could not stop the tears as I thanked God for blessing me so
