this so sweet to trust in Jesus

just to take him at his word

just to rest upon is promise

just to know thus saith the Lord

Jesus Jesus how I trust him

how I’ve proved him o’rer & o’rer

Jesus Jesus precious Jesus

o for grace to trust him more

He provided for her always she.  learned to trust God, and thus the words to the song 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus.' Shortly after this incident, Louisa and her daughter Lily moved to South Africa where they became missionaries. The song is included in many hymnals and has been recorded by many artists.

Thank you for sharing that heart warming story.. I have sung that song many times at church, but never knew that..
Isn't it wonderful that God takes care of us, and it is so sweet to trust in Jesus.
