90 DAY BIBLE CHALLENGE WEEK 8

wow going into week 9, with 4 to go, who'd of thought we'd of came this far, readings were from Isaiah & Jeremiah
Isaiah is the first collection of prophecy of the four major Hebrew prophets, Israel & Judah are to perish but a remnant will survive & a new Jerusalem will rise up as a city of the faithful, it is also in Isaiah that memorable prophecies of Christ's coming are found
Jeremiah is the book of Jeremiah who receives the devine call to prophesy while very young, it is his mission to predict doom upon his nation for its many sins, for this he is hated by the priest & the people

Summer is great, there's vacations, baseball, gardens, flowers, watermelons, favorite swimming holes, bar-b- Q yes Summer is good even with the 110 degree's days LOL but you can feel Fall in the air, the mornings are cooler but they don't last long lol but Fall is coming & if you don't believe me just run out to the nearest Hobby Lobby! Fall is everywhere LOL but don't turn the corner, you'll be confused & think it's Christmas! LOL LOL, have you noticed that the even the apples taste better now& have the sweetest smell, ummm apples baking, apple cider. & Carmel apples
my oldest grand daughters are too old to go on the field trips now, ohh the sweet memories of going to the Pumpkin patch now it's beauty pageants & plays etc, but in a few years the twins will be in school , hopefully we wont be too old to go on field trips then LOL LOL, do you squeal with delight when you see that first leaf start to turn , if it doesn't happen fast enough for you & you're close enough you can go to Tenn, it is gorgeous in Oct.
there's something about Fall that makes us buy mums LOL they are dark & rich in color & a true sign Fall is here

soon we will aww at all the wonder & beauty of Fall, then it happens! the leaves begin to fall & the next question is who's gonna rake those leaves up? LOL LOL, kids are the best for this job, they somehow turn it into a game & is mere joy & if you'll think back to your childhood you'll recall why, remember when you were little & had to rake leaves, lol It ment who could build the highest mound to di- bomb into LOL, then we'd hear "the longer you play the longer it's gona take you" but we didn't care , we were having fun!

Seems like just yesterday we started this journey of the 90 day challenge, here we are already going into week eight , thanks to all who sent the sweet emails & comments these last 2 weeks when I wasn't feeling well, I'm still reading through the Psalms which means a little behind but a good place to be as the Psalms are full of Praise, promises, songs, inspiration, hope, wisdom & assurance
The 90-day Bible Challenge is hosted by Amy over at
it's hard to pick just one favorite Psalms but I have always loved Psalms 63 which is a Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah
PSALMS 63
(1) O God thou art my God,early will I see thee,my soul thirsteth for thee,my flesh longeth for thee in a dry & thirsty land

(3)Because they lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee
(4)Thu will I bless thee while I live, I will lift up my hands in thy name
(5)My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips
(6)When I remember thee upon my bed and meditate on thee in the night watches
(7)Because thou has been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice
(8)My soul followeth hard after thee, thy right hand upholdeth me
(9)But those that seek my soul to destroy it shall go inot the lower parts of the earth

SUN.SELECTIONS / BLESSED

BLESSED: worthy of worship, enjoying the happiness of being blessed, to honor as Holy, glorify, bless the Lord

I may not always get everything I want when I want it or when I think I need it & trials still come but I can truly say that I am blessed,we are blessed as a nation far more than we realize, there are countries beyond us that don't have the freedom to go to church, while we watch in amazement of people having 20 plus kids there are countries that aren't allowed to have more than one & the list can go on & on, the simplest of things may not mean much but how it does when we realize just how blessed we are

our oldest daughter came by yesterday with the girls & baby Noah, his eyes are always open , full of wonder never wanting to miss a thing! we made our rounds to visit the great grandparents, our first stop was to my father-n-laws house, he is doing so much better since the lost of my sweet mother-n-law

then it was off to my parents, it's hard sometimes to see parents get up in years & frail, it was just a few months ago we went through some rough times with dad having Pomona then a relapse

(Deuteronomy 28 1-6)
(1) And it hall come to pass if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I have commanded thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth
(2)And all these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee, if thou shalt harken unto the voice of the Lord thy God
(3) Blessed shalt thy be in the field
(4)Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body and the fruit of thy ground and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine and the flock of thy sheep
(5)Blessed shalt be thy basket and thy store
(6)Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in and blessed shalt thy be when thou goest out

BIBLE IN 90 DAYS CK IN WK 5

can you believe a month has went by since we all started the Bible in 90 days challenge? whether you're right on track, or behind, stay encouraged & keep reading, absorb what you read, take notes along the way, you never know what you comment on is just what someone needs to hear when I first started this challenge my first thought was ok we're already going through the Bible on Wed. nights at church so I really want to read it twice then I thought sure why not lol but you know what? I have found this to be a fantastic review! I'm seeing these chapters in a whole new light, that's what's great about God's word, you're forever learning, this challenge is hosted by at http://www.momstoolbox.com/ as you go through the links you'll meet lots of delightful participants, be sure to leave comments as it will inspire & lift someone up as you will be by visiting
this past week has been base on 1 Samuel through 11 Kings as I began to "re-read" these chapters I felt compelled to go into a deeper study of some throughout these chapters
Saul
David
Bathsheba
Tamar
Solomon
Queen of Sheba
Moses
Hezekiah
Elijah
Elisha

just to name a few, these were God fearing, God believing people, even when treated wrong they held on & believed God

1Kings 18:21
And Elijah came unto all the people and said how long halt ye between two opinions?if the lord be God follow him but if Ba'al then follow him and the people answered him not a word

it is time that we make up our minds in whom will we serve, will we serve God or the things of this world?
