SUN. SELECTIONS /AS THE DEER...

Good Morning, I pray that today has found you well & blessed & that you know Jesus the one who can give peace for your soul, how has your week been, we've had a busy but wonderfully blessed week, I decorated for my granddaughters 12th birthday party, she had 10 friends over, more on all that later,every year the adults get together at the restaurant the birthday girl's choice, we'll be doing that Mon. night, Terry & I went on a little road trip yesterday, we awaken at 5:00 & struck out at 6:00 ohhh what a wonderful blessed day we had, we went to an old restored covered bridge, walked through the woods, then on the the Covered Bridge festival, first stop was at a local church for a pancake breakfast & let me tell you there were more than just pancakes, whew wee! then it was on to the festival, an Antique car show, shopping in the local little shops, then on the the Quilt show, then to supper, then yea you guessed it , no matter where you go , you've got to check out Walmart! ~~lol~ I will make a road trip post in a few days as well as the birthday party's

a few months back when friends talked us into meeting them at a local camp ground park for bike riding etc , first time I'd been on a bike in over 2 0years kid you not, had to go buy a bike ~lol~ all that's in older post somewhere in here, if you'd like to keep going ~loL~ anyways there were deer everywhere at the end of the walking trail, I was so excited, I couldn't take pictures fast enough ~lol~

Fall is slowly approaching , but it's still nice enough to hit the Zoo a few more times, looking back at previous Zoo pictures , I tell my daughter we need to take the twins to the Zoo before it gets too cold to enjoy it, after all the animals wont come out if they're cold ~lol~

SUNDAY SELECTIONS / TALENTS

This past week has been an awesome one, Revival was awesome, one visiting choir couldn't make it, I'm so proud of my praise team stepping in , also this past week, I had the pleasure of decorating the fellowship hall for our Pastors grand daughter's first birthday

I love to decorate, I give full credit to my talent to my Jesus, for through him I am inspired & still learning as I go

Matthew chapter 25 :14-29 tells about unto one he gave five talents,to another two,an to another one,to every man according to his several ability and straightway took his journey

as you read you see where the one with the five ended up with 10,as well as the one with two, in other word they used their God given talents therefore it was multiplied but the one that had the one his his talent & it was taken away from him

did you know that it is a talent to keep & maintain our home's to make it a safe haven for those who dwell there as well as those who enter in

(PROV.31:27) she looketh well to the ways of her household and eateth not the bread of idleness

read that whole chapter of how our homes should be a haven

now on to the party, little katherine turned one this past week, she's just learned to walk & yes she has run of the church LOL my daughter made the cake, thanks to my hubby for hanging the balloons, , as I can't reach that high LOL a big thank you & praise to my Jesus to has instilled in me the desire to decorate

TEMPT MY TUMMY TUESDAY/CANDYBAR BARS

Welcome to another great week of Tempt MY Tummy which is hosted by Lisa @ http://blessedwithgrace.net/ today I am sharing a recipe that looks some kind of good! I haven't tried it yet but it is on my to make list, if you can have a "to do" list , why not a "to make" list right ? LOL



1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup chunky peanut butter
1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® oatmeal cookie mix
1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup dry-roasted peanuts


1.Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
2.In 2 quart saucepan melt butter, corn syrup and 1/4 cup of the peanut butter over medium heat stirring frequently until melted. Stir in cookie mix until soft dough forms. Press dough in bottom of prepared pan.
3.Bake 11 to 13 minutes, or until edges begin to brown. Cool completely, about 45 minutes.
4.In medium microwavable bowl, mix chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter. Microwave uncovered on High for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring once, until melted. Stir in peanuts. Spread evenly over cookie bars. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until chocolate is set. For bars, cut into 8 rows by 4 rows.

Today I am sharing my new cake plate, every time I would go the the Old Time Pottery I would carry this cake plate around & then put it back, well this time it screamed take me home! LOL, when I got to the checkout as the girl was wrapping it , she says hey did you know it did this? as she's flipping it over lol the pedestal is a bowl & when flipped it serves as a chip/bowl situation, oh glory! two in one, it will blend in beautifully with my blue willows or milk glass, dishes or the blue depression, can you tell I love my dishes LOL LOL

THEY GROW SO FAST

seems like it was just yesterday little Noah was born, he never miss's a thing now, always looking around, starting to coo & trying to talk, he's probably asking where's the other boys LOl he's the frist grandson of six grand daughters lol

and I wonder who taught him this LOL

The twins Meagan & Madison are growing too they are so funny, I always get a hi Nanna, sometimes a hug when I enter the door but then it's "where's Paw paw" LOL yep they are paw paw's girls

Ashly & Kaitlyn are at that stage where it's not cool to hug in front of their friends LOL but yet around Paw paw they melt like butter LOL

Counrtney started High School this year, where goes the time go that makes three in the early stages of High School, whew! Hannah(L) is right behind them, hopefully the twins & little Noah will keep us young LOL
