being sick all week I didn’t get my entry in on time for the judging, but that’s ok, I finished it! talk about a challenge, I decided to take an old cardigan that was bound for the thrift store & recreate it into a scarf
I had found the inspiration to make the pattern from here
http://justsomethingimade.com/2011/02/t-shirt-scarves-the-art-of-repurposing/
yep a good ole envelope
the razor is my ideal of a new tool,”defuzzer” is that even a word? according to spell check it’s not lol!, anyways it worked great!
so I began to cut my strips out & sewing them together & waa la!
maybe one side down
maybe sew the ends together ?
maybe pulled through & thicker around the neck?
maybe loose & free ?
maybe a half knot? am I saying that right? I've been sick, I’m just saying lol! now that I look at it I may of liked all the solids at the bottom, fever talking maybe? lol!

Great way to reuse an old cardigan!!! This will keep you snuggly and warm and the lovely browns will co-ordinate with so many outfits. Hope you are feeling better.
I've got sweater saved for this very same purpose! I'm glad you finished your scarf and hope you get well soon.
Hope you feel better soon and what an ingenious use for an old cardigan. Congrats!
Great scarf!
I love the stripes!
I love your scarf, for quite some time that I'm thinking about making a transformation like this, now that I've seen your scarf, I want to make one like yours. I love your scarf, thanks for the inspiration!
